Five Nights At Freddy’s – NEW TRAILER (2023) Universal Pictures
Jim Henson’s Creature Shop’s involvement in the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie was first revealed by Jason Blum in mid-2022, with the producer sharing a BTS image of a staffer putting together early designs for the animatronic monsters. This announcement was met with much enthusiasm from fans of the horror games, confirming that the movie would be taking a practical and grounded approach to adapting Freddy and the other possessed animatronics rather than risk shoddy CGI creations. Anticipation has remained high for the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie throughout its development and namely with the recent trailer drops showing a very faithful approach to adapting the games, including Easter eggs from other games while still sticking to the story of the original. With Blum having remained dedicated to making the movie in spite of pushback from Hollywood and his own staff, chances seem high that it will continue the recent win streak enjoyed by video game adaptations after years of poorly received efforts.
